Handling times
Just had a message from Amazon…they have noticed that I ship orders within 1 day of receiving order.
I am over performing.
They have now set my handling times to a defualt of 1 day…if I want to change it back,I must change all my shipping settings.
Why couldn’t they just ask me first.

I also had this email today informing me they had changed my default handling time from 2 days to 1. Very aggravating and high-handed of them. However, when I checked the default handling time in my shipping settings (under ‘general shipping settings’) with a view to changing it back, it hasn’t been changed, it still says 2 days. Will have to keep an eye on it though as they can’t be trusted.

Yup, they did the same with me - tinkering with my shipping times when I didn’t ask them to. They were implying I’d get more trade if the shipping date was one day not two - is this true? I can’t believe it would make that much difference as I don’t offer Prime and don’t intend to -

Same here, my shipping templates were changed to ‘managed by Amazon’ for transit times and all my Royal Mail 48 orders now show delivery by this Saturday or Monday! With a strike tomorrow there’s no way that’s going to happen, I’ve switched it back now. Hopefully I haven’t messed anything up…I’m always scared of making any changes on Amazon. But we can’t have 2-3 day shipping on Royal Mail 48 showing…we’d get a crazy number of claims, just hoping todays orders aren’t unhappy with the delivery times, most items seem to be taking 10 days to arrive, even Royal Mail 24 has been taking up to 7 days!

Handling times have always been a grey area for me. Does anyone know why (most) of my orders come through as needing to be dispatched next day yet I have my handling time set to 2 days and SSA off? I might not be brain of Britain but I know next day is not 2 days
