In Suspense Of Suspension

Recently whenever I open my Seller Central, I notice in the ‘‘Seller Forums’’ the subjects of suspension, suspended accounts, appeals…
I have a simple question when my time will come to be suspended for whatever reason, knowing that we are registred in Amazon as a Business
(limited company). When a suspension happens, CAN WE OPEN ANOTHER STORE WITH THE SAME BUSINESS DETAILS AND CHANGE ONLY THE STORE NAME ?
or do we have to create new business from scratch?

The Amazon Policy regarding Prohibited Seller Activities clearly states that operating multiple seller accounts without a prior permission from the Seller Performance is prohibited:
Opening a new Seller Account using a different address or any other details to confuse them that you are a different person is viewed as an attempt to circumvent the rules.

If that does happen why not simply address the issue and have the suspension lifted?
You make it sound as though you are knowingly going to be acting in a way that is against Policy and that you will be caught sooner or later.

Speaking as a seller who has been suspended on many occasions in the past 5 years, look at your account performance and work out why you might be suspended and get ahead of it.
Our issue was that for years we simply didn’t know the Amazon system well enough. In the past 3 months we have gone through and increased handling times for everything we can’t ship same day and created multiple shipping profiles to stop people ordering stuff on expedited delivery which we know we can’t ship in an expedited fashion.
The result? Our metrics are all pretty strong, customer feedback is getting more positive again (it slipped from 96% to 92% as our service kept getting worse as we grew).
Amazon do provide some tools to help avoid issues. Use them to your advantage.
That said, if you get suspended for banned ingredients then it’s a nightmare…you just have to try and write the most comprehensive appeal in the history of man and hope they don’t reject it on the basis that it lacks detail (spoiler alert: it always lacks detail).

Why do you feel its inevitable that you will be suspended . Remember there are millions of sellers that do not post on the forum and have probably not been suspended . Some sellers only come to the forum when they are suspended , so it can create an impression that most sellers get suspended . Which is probablty not the case .
Yes , there is the real risk of suspension for any seller even if they operate above board as sometimes competitors sabotage other sellers . However if it happens to you , your best option is to try and address the situation as best you can . Opening a new account will result in suspension of that new account . Amazon can link you to any other account you open .
