Just being nosey re New Forum
As the title suggests, i’m just being nosey and wondering who will and who won’t be happy to continue posting when the new forum arrives here in UK ?
Please don’t politicise the post with reasons why they may or may not be bringing in the new version I don’t want it to be pulled 
For those that aren’t aware, in the US, starting next month, there will be a new version of the forum where your business name will be used instead with no option to amend it to a username (not sure if sole traders will have their actual names or storenames shown , that presumably will be clarified by the mods nearer to the time) it will then, at some point in the future , be rolled out here

I don’t overly mind forum people seeing my business name but I think then the forum should become private for sellers only and not be searchable on Google etc

I post on here as me. It is something I do with spare time because it ‘keeps my eye in’ on Amazon processes and hopefully helps a few folks out along the way.
It is not in my business charter to do that, I’m not speaking on behalf of my business when I do it, I speak as me with my business knowledge (such as it is).
I don’t want my forum posts coming up when customers search for my company name - apart from anything else that is just diluting your own SEO.
Then there is the possibility of someone getting offended and becoming malicious towards your brand and reputation. It simply isn’t worth the risk for what would be a tiny benefit (participating in the forums).

I am anonymous mainly because I do not want my customers, suppliers and potential suppliers to see what I am posting.
I used to post under my store name and I made a comment about how I deal with items that are not received. After I made that comment my INR’s went up a lot in the following few weeks, whether this was coincidence or not I am not sure. However since then I have preferred to be anonymous.
I am not sure if I will post once the new forum is in place. If I do I may just limit myself to giving advice to other people and not posting my own issues, I will certainly think twice about what I am posting.
In this day and age what you say online is kept forever and if that is linked to your company it could cause you problems down the line. You never know what opportunities are ahead and it would be a shame to have that spoilt by a stupid comment on a forum.
I am not actually bothered about other sellers seeing my store name or my product range. It is not like any of this information is a secret. It is more about it being searchable on google. If the forum was kept to just Amazon sellers most of my concerns would go.

And of course just prompted by another thread, what happens when you help another poster with how to report another seller for a violation - and they take umbrage with you as the business who gave the links/steps of how to do it

I will see what happens.
But I can assure you if I do keep posting it will be with a limited capacity, and I will be thinking twice and rereading every post I make in case someone having a bad day takes something I said wrong and decides to buy 50 cards off me, knowing I don’t send tracked, so they can file A-Z, or claim for damages, or claim they are counterfeit or any other way they can use to get my Amazon account shut down. I am sure the novelty of helping people out when I have to do that will not last long…
In that case I am not anonymous, and they know who I am, but they are anonymous, and can buy off me under 100 different buyer accounts if they feel like it… and by the time I realise what’s going on it will be too late.
I am anonymous simply because there are a lot of unhinged people out there, maybe I am personally affected because I was married to someone who would do exactly that, and rub his hands together and laugh at every purchase knowing what was coming… But I’ve seen how much pleasure wrecking someone’s life can give someone…

I’ll keep posting but then it’s not my business either way, I’m an employee. What I’m unsure about is if the name Postees will be what shows or if it will be The Uniform Factory. The Uniform Factory is the business and Postees is just this portion of it, but it is the trading name on Amazon.

Littleshop I’m sure you’ve posted before that you can get cards very cheap from your supplier, which at the moment means nothing to us - however when we have access to your business name, and your product list it won’t be hard to start calling suppliers and saying “Littleshop says they get a great deal from you, can you meet it for me”
