Listing books pre ISBN

by Seller_bjufb60m5gyDO

It would appear that it is not possible to list most books on Amazon. I have for some time put aside those books not already on Amazon database ie not already listed, I now have 2,500 of such books. They are pre 1960 and therefore do not have ISBN numbers. Listing of books appears not possible without completion of product identification box (ISBN). I have contacted Amazon & it seems that one can apply for exemption but only separately for each item which is impossible. In practice therefore given that most books published are pre ISBN & not already on Amazon it seems that the majority of books cannot be offered for sale, can anyone advise? Thanks

Do you really have 2.500 books not already on the Amazon database?

How have you been looking for them?

Amazon search is notoriously poor at finding obscure and OOP titles without ISBNs. If there are no copies available for sale, it will generally hide them by default.

Even using title/author search in ‘add a product’ doesn’t always make it easy to find such books.
