NO DPD UK or ROYAL MAIL ON BANK HOLIDAYS BUT DPD PRIME STILL EXPECTING SELLER TO SHIP

DPD UK and Royal Mail have confirmed they will not collect on 25,26,27,28th December all bank holidays but Amazon Prime is still live. Amazon are insisting to contact them to collect!?

The only other carriers are Hermes which we are not setup with as frankly they have a poor service including a high rate of loss and no response to claim form requests/payments and Amazon shipping we do not have setup as they require a minimum number of parcels we cannot meet.

What are sellers expected to do?

Thank you, Yes we are aware of this option, but we will obviously lose a lot of orders. The question is why Amazon is considering boxing day as a working day after 70 Years of it being a main holiday in the UK ? Who wants to go to work on this day ? and why there is no coordination between Amazon & their carriers?
