Pallets to French FC: Will they accept white non-CHEP pallets?

When sending pallets to a EU FC (France for example) the Amazon guidance says this:

When delivering stock to EU countries, use 800x1200 mm Euro/CHEP.

My 3PL have asked whether non-CHEP Euro pallets will be accepted. CHEP are blue pallets rented from CHEP but they will be using white non-CHEP pallets. The Amazon literature doesn’t specify any further on this point.
