Problems getting brand registry

I have been listing my items with my brand name and got blocked.

I have followed all the requirement except the UPC code and my application is getting rejected time and time again.

I have pointed out that Handmade items are exempt from UPC, but I might as well talk to the brick wall.

Any way to get this sorted?

If you are listing in the Handmade catalog, you should have brand registry waiver?

I can only tell you my experience which is that I have brand registry waiver (I didn’t apply, it was just part of the benefits when I applied for Handmade) and I can put my display name in the brand field with no issues (before, it was maker profile name and for some reason this changed - that’s why I had an issue for a few days).

There isn’t even a UPC field when I create listings in Handmade (the fields are different from the main catalog).

The problem is that the Handmade support seems to have gone. You find yourself talking to usual Seller Support and they don’t seem to understand or know there is a waiver. I had to work out the change for myself.

No I do not sell in the EU, only UK.

It id fully registered and it is figurative.

Just trying to find where the reply went to my brand application! Now where do I look for that?

I already have one brand registered and that is figurative, so not sure why I can’t get this one also?

I think it was brand registry. As I am on Handmade and make my own, I therefore own the brand.

Still trying to find it. Might have to go to a different computer to see if it is on there.

Yes, and so does Craft Genie have words. I will go to my other computer as I have found Performance Notifications, but it is not there either.

They have always been generic, no idea why a couple are already branded CG though.

Sole trader with at present 3 shops, all with permission. Each shop selling something different.

The shop only has Craft Genie, so would that make a difference. Surely if I am Craft Genie and want to sell an item which I make I can brand it as Craft Genie (UK)

Yes I took this up with IPO and they said it shouldn’t be a problem.

Do you think Amazon need the full CG Craft Genie (UK) on the account. The CG bit is the logo!
