UPC Number problem uploading my listing
Hi, I am trying to add a product listing via upload, I finished almost everything. But, the only one not being accepted is the UPC number. My supplier gave me a digital number of 12 numbers. But when I am adding that UPC number, I got an error from Amazon saying that it exceeded the maximum required number of 8 digits.
But I even checked online when they buy the UPC number, it is showing that it is a 12 digital number. Could you please advise me on this?

I suspect you’re selecting the wrong type of UPC. Not sure of the correct term, but there is a shorter UPC of 8 digits meant for products where a standard UPC may not fit.

Hi did you solve this? I have the same problem with my first listing. The frustrating thing is, i don’t seem to be able to save the listing, having spent the 45 steps to get it entered,so looks like i need to start the listing again.
