VTR at 1% - what am I doing wrong?
So my VTR hit the low of 1% today but I am so confused as to why.
If I send an order via letter post I buy the postage through Amazon, the rest is being sent through my Click & Drop account which does have a trackable number, although it isn’t a tracked service, it is the large letter post, this number can prove that I am sending the items out but isn’t classed as a tracked service.
I thought with the new rules that we only had to prove that we were sending the items out, I didn’t think it had to be a tracked post.
Did I get this wrong? Does everything now have to be sent as a tracked post or not?
To be fair, I have stopped getting the warning emails from Amazon.
This is a total shambles.

HI, I have started to buy all my letter postage and large letter postage via Amazon and my VTR is now improving. I would suggest buying your letters and large letter postage via Amazon. When you say the rest, do you mean parcels or large letters?

What parcel code are you using for large letters?
Is it Bpl? OLP?
Seller_FJ7iUPrNEk7Rh
I don’t type in a code. I use Khaos Control who issue the details once I have finished all the procedures. What code should I be using?
Seller_ZQyopdiwkUHOZ
There might be some issues with using OLP, as it doesn’t seem that the 2d bar code number gets transferred across when using Click and Drop, as C&D doesn’t treat it as a tracked service.
Besides that, it just changes what the expectation is.
If it’ CRL (RM24/48) then you’d expect your VTR to be around 80%. If it’s BPL, then they’ll be invalid, but as long as the tracking is being updated onto Amazon correctly, you will end up with around a 0%. If you’re using CRL or BPL for your large letters, and the tracking info is being entered correctly, Amazon will verify that the tracking numbers are legitimate and won’t suspend your categories.
Can you take a screen shot of your VTR defect report and post it here?

edit - posted last week
can you upload the most recent screenshot of your VTR defect report to see if those invalid ones have dropped off yet

That’s the conclusion that I’ve come to and have raised a ticket for it. Will see what they say. In the meantime I have hooked up my click & drop account to Amazon so it pulls the orders directly from Amazon. Will see what it says for the pricing.
That was the VTR download from today. There just haven’t been many orders since the last time.

I had a similar issue until I figured the problem out.
After choosing the shipping carrier and confirming a shipment, the Amazon system ( for no obvious reason ) changes the shipping carrier name from DPD, Evri, Yodel or whatever you choose from the drop-down menu to ‘‘Other’’.
‘Other’ is not a valid shipping carrier, so you must resubmit the right carrier name again.

I am buying 90% of my postage through Amazon but just standard 2nd class so my VTR rate is going down fast.
I was sending it through Click and Drop on their 48 service, that was linked to Amazon but my VTR rates were still in the 70% range.
I asked on the board but I have ADHD and the answers were more than likely right but my head could not get around it all.

My VTR has been around the 80% for years using Royal Mail 48.
I now use Royal Mail 48 tracked and its nearly 98%
Go fully tracked it also improves sales.

Mine is better
As long as you have Click and drop sending the numbers it doesn’t matter.
You can’t just apply “tracked items sell better” to all items. You can send with a tracked service but you’’ just not be competitive for low-cost items and just lose
