Does Amazon Sell Inbound FBA stock
Hi,
A couple of ASIN’s have inbound FBA inventory. In seller central they appear as 0, but the active listing is showing the product as available through Amazon, sold by us. The estimated delivery date is going in to November, so I’m wondering if this is Amazon’s way of being able to sell the inbound stock, by creating these crazy delivery dates.
Thanks,
Steve

Yes they offer them for sale but usually with longer or no delivery dates
It’s completely normal and nothing to worry about as amazon will either ship them on delivery or cancel them with no affect on your account

Yes you can. I’ve many pending orders for stock which is due to be scanned in any day now. Like Kris saying their delivery date is heavily extended. It surprises me that people purchase them tbh.

Brilliant, thanks for the quick replies, I thought this was the case! I’m also surprised that people would purchase with heavily extend delivery dates.

They have been doing this for a while now. Though it isn’t something that they do with everyone.
It’s called “Fast forward” program, or something along those lines. I can’t remember for definite at the moment.
But basically once they know that stock has been shipped, they will put it up for sale, though if others are on the listing, your unlikely to get the buy box.

I have been using In stock head start for a while now, I find it mostly just drives up my ad spend as when the customers see the delivery date after they click the ad they dont bother buying, most of the time. Do you guys not have this issue too?
