Royal Mail Fuel Surcharge
The Royal Mail fuel surcharge was raised to 8% in 2022 when fuel prices hit a high.
It still stands at this despite fuel prices dropping quite a lot recently. Has anyone ever known Royal Mail to lower a fuel surcharge after raising it?

I asked when it dropped straight after & was told ‘at this time, I have not been given any information to whether it’ll drop down or cease to exist’. I asked again recently when verbally discussing our T rates & was told that fuel prices nationwide haven’t dropped that much & are still rather high so that’s why she assumed it still existed but hadn’t been given any information on it.
I doubt they’ll get rid of it, like I doubt the prices of food in the supermarket will ever go down.

I think while the cost of fuel has gone done, the cost of literally everything else has gone up.
Amazon have pretty much added their temporary fuel surcharge into their new permanent prices, its possible Royal Mail will do the same.
