Main Product Image Issues
I’ve been left feeling very frustrated with Amazon the past few days. I’ve tried to add a new product, and the main image keeps getting rejected, because they have text. I’ve tested this by adding an image that’s otherwise identical, sans the text, and it was accepted. I’ve tried a dozen perfectly valid images, but each time, computer says no. I’m guessing all images are first verified by bots rather than humans?
Trying to appeal to seller support has been fruitless. They simply don’t understand what I say to them.
Amazon bots going rogue is going to be a serious problem going forward as nearly all my products have text on them.
I suppose this is more of rant, but has anyone else had this?
Are the Amazon forum mods able to pass this info on?

I get it with cards, end up having to take a really bad quality photograph from a silly angle just to convince the bots that “Happy Birthday” is not text on the image…

Nearly EVERYTHING on here is now controlled by bots ! - and it is a ridiculous situation, especially for those whose items have text o them - as Dedez says, especially those who sell greetings cards.
Worth a try.
You need to put @ in front of the mods name to tag them in to a post and for them to notice.
eg. @Julia_Amazon @Winston_Amazon

@Julia_Amazon @Winston_Amazon
Can you please escalate this issue? Perfectly fine product images are not being accepted because they have text on them. Thanks.

tbh it probably happens that rarely that no-one at Amazon cares.
I have literally hundreds of cards and it happens to less than 1% of them
It would be nice if seller support could think for themselves and actually fix things and override the bots though…
