Name on Seller Central
I’m a sole trader, when setting up my account I remember seeing the option to create a shop name, which can be changed at any time. I can see how to and have done that, from the original set up. However I can’t change the original shop name that appears in a box at the top of my seller central account. On a desktop it appears at the top of the page that says Name | United Kingdom. Can anyone tell me where this name is pulling from, what it is denoting and if I can change it? As a sole trader I was only verified under my own name. Thank you

I just tried it (changed name to all caps) and after 20 mins the box name you mentioned updated.

Hi, thank you. I have been able to change my store name but is it the name in the section that I’ve attached a screenshot of, that I can’t change. It was my original store name, so I don’t know what is it supposed to be? I can’t find any option to edit it or locate it anywhere else on my account.

Hi, I believe this can be changed by going to Settings>Global Accounts>Rename

Try Settings>Account info>Seller Profile
You may have to change the name in all marketplaces (even if not selling on them) for it to have effect.

I’ve updated the global one (hadn’t come across that page before) and I had already updated each market place, from the second link but still no change for the troublesome box. My main concern is making sure my wholesale invoices will match up to the information Amazon are holding for me. And concerned that might be set as my business name or something? But I was sure I’d just used my own name as a sole trader.
