I need urgent help to activate the account & here is what I received from the Amazon Health Team…

Why are you saying in your title it was a misunderstanding?

At present, the notice(s) you have received requires that you submit a plan of action

Acknowledging that your product is against Amazon policy and why you listed it despite being against policy

What you have done to make sure everything you still sell is compliant with policy

What you have changed in your operating processes to prevent future listing of items that are against policy.

Hello Amazon Team,

Apologies for the inconvenience caused to amazon due to the restricted product uploaded by me(seller).

First of all, I would like to narrate the whole incident first.

– A detailed explanation of the root cause(s) of the violations

Firstly, the same product Ayu Tech Protein powder 500 gram (ASIN:- B07FC14JDV) was uploaded on 23 July 2018 and It was active for 4 months & deactivated on 3rd March 2019. I deleted the listening.

On, Nov 27, 2019, I had words with the support team & they mentioned over the phone that they will help me out for the product deactivation.

I had a long conversation on Case ID {Moderator Edit (Jessica) Case ID removed} & at the last team mentioned: " The Asin is not active & mentioned to relist the product using listing loader".

Secondly, Once I relisted the product again & it again blocked. Then the conversation started on case id {Moderator Edit (Jessica) Case ID removed} & case id {Moderator Edit (Jessica) Case ID removed}.

But I was not happy with the support reply because I was receiving pre templates in the revert.

I was asking that the same type of product is already listed & active. So, I want to know what makes my product disapproved of the amazon.

“In the above Case id its already mentioned this product comes in FSSAI” but my products contain ayurvedic herbs. As I read the guidelines there is not mentioned that an ayurvedic product comes under FSSAI because the ayurvedic products lie under AYUSH Licence(I have the license).

Thirdly, I would like to mention that if this product doesn’t comply with policies then I won’t upload it again as well as I would like to mention here I am not happy with the support team with their reverts.

– Confirmation that you have closed or deleted all restricted product listings from your inventory

It is confirmed, I Closed & delete the listening.

– The proactive steps you have taken to prevent any similar violations in the future

Firstly, I would deeply check whether the product is suited to amazon’s policies.

Secondly, I would raise a case to support the team with the images & description. So, I can assure you before uploading it.

Lastly, If anything happened. I will delete the listing as soon as possible. Also, I will maintain the account health score.

You might find some examples on the forum, but it is better if you write it in your own words.

In essence -

Root cause - You were not aware of Amazon restricted policies and because of this you listed a product that was prohibited.

What have you done - Which policies have you now reviewed? Have you familiarised yourself with all applicable policies (which ones)? How have you verified that any other listings you have are compliant with all relevant Amazon policies?

What will you do? What procedures have you put in place to ensure you keep up to date with Amazon policy, specifically to prevent any future listings being against Amazon policy? How will you ensure your listings remain compliant?

Good Luck with that… Suspended for past 10 weeks because they wrongly identified “Suspect” product with no or very little response from Amazon.

My suggestion is sell elsewhere

Under this section, you need to specify steps you HAVE TAKEN, not steps you will take in the future. Amazon want to know you have made changes to the way you operate to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

Lets be honest here Amazon is terrible, they change policies at a whim overnight and suddenly decide that items you have been selling for years with them , and which they are more than happy to take a chunk of the sales,are now no longer eligible for sale on Amazon. With the books this is nothing more than censorship in the name of political correctness. They are trying to silence thoughts they do not fit their political agenda. I have no problem with people selling “The Communist Manifesto” “Das Kapital” or “Mein Kampf” we supposedly live in a democracy but Amazon is taking it upon itself to decide what is available to customers to buy and read.
Perhaps the moves in the US Congress to break u companies like Amazon are long overdue. Amazon seems to think it is more than a mere selling platform.

Restricted products is among one of our policies that sellers are expected to abide by while in operation. This policy is marketplace specific as it is governed by the laws and regulations of the government of that particular marketplace accompanied by Amazon’s internal policies.

As your account has been taken down because of the violation of this policy, you are expected to help us with a plan of action along with the acknowledgement of the policy violation.

What is the reason behind the violation of the policy?

How have you violated the policy?

What is the step taken to overcome the policy violation?

How would you ensure the policy is followed in the long run?

Is there a checklist you will follow while creating a listing?

How will you check for restricted items in future?

These are certain questions that will help you in understanding the policy and in formulation of plan of action that is expected of you for reactivation of your selling account.

If you have reason to believe that the product should not be categorized as restricted item, we would request you to please dispute the same with necessary documentation (like a license as mentioned) that establishes the products an acceptable item on the platform.

For submission of plan of action, you can either reply to the notification received or click on reactivate your account option in seller central.
