Were you charged for the return label? Has the order been refunded?

There is nothing you can do regarding the reason for return but if you have been charged for the return label you can open a Safe T claim.

Ultimately, there is nothing you can do about it. Amazon perpetuate this kind of behaviour and sadly, it's now become a part of trading on this platform that you have to accept. The customer has more than likely had their money back due to refund at first scan on returns. As the previous reply says, if you have been charged for the return label you can try and recover the cost of that via a Safe-T claim but this is something that happens very often as some customers will claim anything to avoid paying return postage.

Totally normal behaviour from sellers - they will use the drop down menu to find a free return we are plagued with it on a daily basis. Amazon do not give a monkeys!

We have a direct comparison just as many sales on website selling the same products. Very few returns or complaints. Amazon customers are really unlucky are used to palying the system to try goods, use them etc and send back as defective or damaged.

Obviously Amazon know as they are good at using AI etc to read messages and collate information. It will be obvious.

Put your prices up to pay for it - all customers can then pay for it. Its the same way car/house insurance companies work aka everyone pays for fraud.

open a safe-t claim. Make sure to include that the buyer is in breach of amazon's terms and conditions and has returned an item in a substantially different condition to how it was sent out, if it was new but has now been unsealed or opened etc.

When amazon grant a safe-t claim they pull the money back from the buyer.

If the buyer has not been refunded yet, then you can give them a partial refund. Again, make sure to mention in the notes that the buyer is in breach of amazon terms and conditions for returns, and upload evidence photos.
