Ungating in Toys for Q4
Hello!
I applied to be gated for toys and games- thankfully I wasn’t dismissed entirely but got the following response;
“Product Packaging Picture:

The images provided do not meet the labelling requirements, which state that any information added to the product packaging must be securely adhered and not easily removable. Please provide images that meet this requirement.

The product shown in the product packaging photos cannot be found on the invoice you submitted. Please provide an invoice showing purchase of the same product shown in your product packaging photos.

Please provide 1. Invoice (Or other purchase proof) 2. Product Packaging Picture”
I provided the pdf invoice but will resubmit and highlight the product name on it.
With regards to the labelling requirement does this mean I have to attach my own label or just show a picture of the barcode on the product?

This is what Amazon expect to see permanently affixed on your product packaging, ideally part of the packaging printing process.
Genuine product images its packaging showing (i) CE marking , (ii) product name or model number , (iii) the brand’s name or registered trade mark , and (iv) the address where the brand can be contacted (preferably its EU-based representative).
It is not just a case of printing CE markings on packaging.
They need to be backed up with EC declaration of conformity and testing certificates for safety standards and directives, proving that the product is compliant and safe to sell in the EU.
