Buyer reported wrong Seller for Counterfeit article
Hi all,
Customer has reported an item we sold was counterfeit but has reported the claim against the wrong Seller.
Buyer has confirmed through the Amazon Message system that they did indeed report the WRONG Seller for selling Counterfeit articles.
I have messaged S/S but they just didn’t take on board what l was explaining and just said l would have to appeal and send invoices to match sales quantities.
l have sent through copies of the invoices as request for last 365 days but the response back states the purchased quantities do not match the sales quantities - But they DO ?!?
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Did the buyer buy one from you and one from your competitor too ?

Are the invoices you are sending, showing cases, rather than individual items?
If so, you will need to explain that the invoice is for (example) 10 cases of 50 units. ie. 500 individual items. Rather than just 10.

Welcome to the world of Amazon. I had this problem and i never managed to get my listing reinstated even after 30 messages and appeals. It was for an item that retails for £525 so in the end i created a bundle and started selling the bundle on here instead.
Unless you write exactly what they want to hear in the correct wording then you will get nowhere

I have had similar problems to this many times. For example, I sell one item as part of a bundle, which is clearly marked as such. Another seller has, several times, sent just one part of the bundle, resulting in lots of angry messages, saying stuff like “Do not buy, does not send [accessory] as advertised”. This obviously damages my reputation. Yet Amazon not only do nothing about this when I message them, but they allow this seller to keep selling this product with the accessory missing. On top of that, they refuse to remove all the negative feedback and they allow this seller to relist AND he uses FBA, which means it would be easy for Amazon to check that he is not selling the bundle as advertised. I even messaged the seller, who didn’t realise it was my listing and told me a pack of lies about how the listing was wrong and he had asked me to change it! I put him right on that, but he has again sold under my listing with the accessory missing. And Amazon could not care less and absolutely refuse to do anything about it!

I too am getting extremely fed up with this. I sent a detailed invoice direct from the manufacturer themselves showing their address, my address and the product in question. I even provided my account managers email and they still rejected my appeal.
Amazon are so difficult to work with that’s why I now use On Buy and Fru ugo.

Many thanks to all you kind Sellers for your expert advice on this case in the past week or so.
Just thought l would update you that my appeal has now been upheld. Not via the appeals system but by me sending an email to: managingdirector@amazon.co.uk as a last resort to me going mad!
The response was as follows:
Dear SJG Supplies,
We reviewed the information you provided and decided that you may continue to offer these items on Amazon:
ASIN: XXX
End/
Even though the warning currently remains in place, I would recommend anyone at their wits end to use this email address in the future - it might just reach a Human’s desk’s and get a Human’s response.
