15 years old Account deactivated with Section 3 after it was hacked
My Account was deactivated with Section 3.
My account was hacked in March, 2024, at which point Amazon sent suspicious login alert to my associated email. However, after that alert was received, hacker was able to change my email to their malicious email, and acquired complete control over my account, while I was locked out. I called Amazon Buyer and Seller supports and tried to explain it but they were not able help. I made multiple attempts between Mar/2024 and late May/2024, before I could recover this account. However, by then the hacker had already done the damage and who knows what activities took place, for my account of 15 years to be deactivated. I have explained this to Amazon Account Health folks but no useful response was provided.
I am willing to cooperate but someone from Amazon with the executive level authority and understanding needs to be involved to identify and devise a solution. Not only that but Amazon may also use this for research and put in place genuine safeguards to protect innocent sellers (and buyers) from being targeted like this.
Note that I have provided an affidavit explaining everything along with my proper identification and other related documents as the genuine owner of this account.
The other unintended issue arising from this matter is that, it is impacting another seller account which was deactivated with multiple account policy violation, only because I was a common factor between the two.
Please raise this issue to the highest possible ranks so it can be highlighted and other honest accounts can be protected from this issue.

Hey there @Seller_m4CG6nzd3VupZ,
I hope this finds you well!
I understand you have questions regarding your account.
In regards to your information being potentially altered after unauthorized access to your account. I do suggest further outlining the scenario in a submission. This will include as many specific details as possible, including dates, times, and any information that had been changed.
I also recommend ensuring you have taken further steps to secure your account, such as:
- enable two-step verification
- change your password and do so regularly
- ensure all other users under user permissions have the correct limited access (and remove these users if you do not recognize them)
More information on keeping your account secure can be found here.
After providing this information, you will want to also provide adequate proof that you are in no way further related to the linked accounts. This can range from business documentation, identity documents, and any information to show that your business is separate from the connected account.
Feel free to watch this seller university video for further insight.
All the best,
Stevie.
