FBA measurements for warehouse

The warehouse is measuring my product wrong which is causing it to fall into a higher tier resulting is higher fees. The box my product is in is clearly 2cm thick but they are measuring it as 3.4cm. They have remeasured it 4 times now and still came back with 3.4cm. Has anyone experienced this?

Do you have any idea where they are getting the 3.4cm from. Is it the length, height. Could the packaging by loose, does anything stick outside the box? Does the box lay perfectly flat?
I have had products that have been measured and re-measured. Usually if the dimensions are identical, it means they have probably not remeasured it but just going by the last confirmed dimensions. If there are slightly differing measurements but in the same ball park, the there is likely an issue with the package they are measuring.
