Seller product review, amazon wont remove it

So, i sold a sealed board game from official distributors and unfortuantly when the custome opened the item, it was missing 2 ships outs of the 14, i offered here a partial refund so she could buy the missing pieces or a full refund if she returned the item.

She ignored me and lleft this review -

The whole thing is wrong. We have four of the Catan game variants and this one is just wrong, The quality of the box is different, there is no inner plastic casing to hold the pieces and in fact two of the vital pieces were missing. I contacted the seller who offered a £5 credit. This is not much help as I don’t intend to buy here again.

To me this is a product review and i could not have done better in offereing a reasonable solution, but amazon will not remove it because they recieved a product ‘‘not as advertised’’

What can i do ?

I think you could have done better in offering a reasonable solution. I don’t think you took " full ownership " of this customer service issue.

I would have suggested the following.

Offer the customer a replacement, if possible, and you both agree that you will open the replacement to check it is all O A K before sending it. ( Obviously part of this is you get the other one back, and fund the return shipping )

Tell the customer you will source the missing bits and post them to her. Whether that means opening another full box, to get them or buying in the bits yourself …

The customer probably thinks as you are the person who sold it to them, it is your responsibility to put it right.

This bit is not product review, it’s permissible feedback on the customer’s experience of the purchase, even though she’s mistaken the refund for a credit. To be eligible for removal every word of the feedback must be product review
