How to label & Package a enviromental products with minimal packaging for FBA
Hi All,
I manufacture an sell some Bamboo products, and they are just bamboo boxes essentially so no need for packaging in my opinion. it is a waste plastic bag and would reduce the enviromental credentials of such a product. I was thinking is a white FBA label sufficicent to send such a thing into FBA.
I was even thinking of laser etching the FNSKU onto the product so label isnt required. I have seen IKEA do this.
Whats Amazon’s guidelines on this

When I’m deciding what to do when sending items in (bag or no bag etc) I image a warehouse.
A large dusty place, with a concrete floor, shelves and shelves of products, packed not displayed like in a shop.
If your product is accidently knocked off a shelf a couple of meters high and falls on the dusty floor will it get damaged/dirty…
I’ve no idea about the viability of etching a barcode into bamboo that would still be readable… my gut says no but I’ve never done it so have no idea how good barcode readers are…
