Selling on Amazon Uk
Hi sorry for what might be a daft question:
What are the different main types of selling on Amazon Uk? E.g:
In terms of details required for selling in the UK
is there a difference between what details are required on FBA and the other types of selling?
I jumped in quite quickly (eager to sell books) without properly researching and wonder: does FBA require passport verification ?
Getting a bit confused with it all.

All sellers are required to be verified before they can sell on Amazon, doesn’t matter if it’s FBM or FBA. Here’s a link to read through re all the aspects they look at:

As Isabella says, no matter whether you choose to sell via FBA or FBM (fulfilled by merchant) you will have to go through the now very stringent checks of identity, bank account verification, business registration with HMRC and Amazon etc.etc.
Lots of hoops to jump through and currently seems to be taking a long time for new accounts to be verified.
A lot will depend on size of your inventory and whether you plan to sell new or used books, but to be honest, I would be very wary of FBA - there are a lot of costs involved.
