Where can I find the 'Item Type Keyword?'
Hi,
We are brand new seller on Amazon and have had little to no support of Amazon regarding problems that we have ran into.
Most of these have now been sorted. However, I have listed an item but, it is marked as ‘Active’ but still disabled. When I have looked into why, they have alerted me that I need to ensure that the ‘Item Type Keyword’ is entered into my Listing’s ASIN.
Could anyone help me to find this?
I have been on the ‘Advanced View’ multiple times looking for anything that is remotely similar to this such as ‘Item Category’ but I have been unsuccessful.
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

Had the same problem a few months ago when reinstating some inventory.
Amazon support had to fix problem in the end.

You have to unfortunately wait for them.
Depends which support operative you’re allocated; could take a couple of days.

Press edit listing and re save it, dont alter any fields.
It worked for me with the same error on loads of listings

I’m having the same problem with some listings I created last week.
Support have been useless and are going round in circles.
Most annoying thing is that we product match to the ASIN so it should of been using the same details as the other seller - who happens to be Amazon themselves.
Item shows as active but with quality alert as it says the fabric composition is missing (it isn’t it’s in there) but when you check the ASIN on customer side it’s not there (still Amazon the only seller).
SS Keep saying the same thing that use the non media category inventory loader template.
Already tried that with a partialupdate, tried recreating them with full update
If you run the ASIN through the “whats the issue” tool on support it comes back with the item type keyword issue (but there is no attribute called item type keyword)

Hello,
Thanks for your posts.
I would advise you to review the listing status in the Account Information section of your account.
Edit: (Posted before my reply was complete) Setting this section to active will allow your listings to become available for sale if they have been listed correctly.
Regards,
Jessica

Hmmm… I have the same problem suddenly with one of my ASINs in FR and ES marketplaces. Suddenly the product disappeared from the search. The ASIN should normally be on page 1 or 2 but it’s nowhere to be found.
I check the ASIN using Amazon’s listing tool and it says that the ‘item type keyword’ is missing. I looked in the ‘more details’ section for that ASIN and there is nothing called ‘item type keyword’.
Seller support have been their usual unhelpful self sending me around in circles whilst not understanding the issue.
The only thing I think it could be is the Browse nodes have somewhere become confused but nobody has said to adjust these or re-input them. You would think seller support would know how to fix this issue? It seems very common.
