AI Forum Members

Has anyone else noticed many AI written responses from some of the same forum members on every post? I believe there are 4-5 AI driven 'sellers' now on this forum that answer questions. I believe after losing many real sellers who answered most of the questions we now have AI sellers who give formulaic responses every time. I wont name any names but keep a look out.

AI responses are common on forums. Its a shame as the personal touch is lost.

But many sellers do ask questions which are so easily answered by the simplest of google searches (other search engines are available).

Hi @Seller_raHZbxvpfgJs3,

I wanted to respond (after seeing your similar comment directed at me in another thread) because I find this perspective a bit puzzling.

A lot of posts here mention frustrations about seller support, and if, as you suggest, fewer sellers are active in the forums, wouldn’t that naturally mean fewer responses and longer wait times for those seeking advice?

Isn’t it a positive thing if new contributors step in to help fill that gap? I’ve been open about the fact that I’m a German seller and use AI tools for translation and spelling corrections when participating in non-German marketplace forums. These tools allow me to engage more broadly than I otherwise could, and I’ve genuinely tried to share insights based on my experience.

I think a strong community benefits from diverse perspectives and contributions, regardless of how they’re written. Discouraging willing participants over assumptions about how they craft their responses feels counterproductive to that goal. At the end of the day, isn’t the value of what’s being shared more important than how it’s written?

Kind regards, Michael

I can't say i've noticed it becoming a trend at all. There's been the odd post which is seemingly a copy/paste from AI, but i'm talking less than a handful in maybe 2 or 3 years.

Maybe they're posting topics i have no interest in so don't see them?

Yes I have seen AI driven posts as well.

I do want to assure everyone all of my responses are 100% real. Complete with grammatical and spelling errors!
