Read onlyWe are facing an issue where when we switch off SFP on our account settings at 2pm - We then get premium delivery on these products placed between 2pm & 4pm and needs dispatching by 4pm. (Our SFP carrier arrives at 3.30pm and was told by amazon shipping to switch off beforehand so theres time to pick and pack.)
Is the only way to avoid defected orders, to change the templates on all the sfp skus to one where premium delivery isn't mandatory? Our seller fulfilled prime template has mandatory premium delivery (regalrless whether SFP is active)
Is there a way we can switch off premium delivery from our SFP account? years ago these were separate and can no longer find a switch to turn off premium delivery.
I honestly didn't think you could keep switching off SFP - orders placed up to 4pm on SFP must go the same day. I'd be wary of what amazon seller support tell you - they aren't known to be accurate.
The easiest way to control prime orders and next /2nd day shipping is to use "prime order volume" - set this number to how many orders you think you would get and be able to process by say midday - when you reach this number - you will still show the prime badge but only offer standard shipping and most orders will then need to be shipped the next day. I hope that makes some sense but test the therory by putting a small number in and then see what your listing offer is - I do this during busy periods and never have an issue with CS as this is the point of the prime order control, they only want you to have orders you can ship comfortably.
