Refund Pending Request

Hi
Im currently selling on Handmade and had a refund/return request appear, i agreed to it and clicked the return accepted button, however since then I have spoken to the customer and we agreed on a remake and i posted off the new deisgn and now neither of us can cancel the return? Have contacted support but no joy! Will it just drop off after so many days?
