Read onlyHello-
We sold an item to a buyer and normally we pay $5.00-$6.00 for shipping and the customer returned it due to buying the wrong size.
When we recieved the return we got charged $29.73 for the return label which is absolutey absurd for the weight and size of the package sent.
We filed a SAFE-T claim under the reason " I was over-charged for the label" and provided substainal photos to indicate how much regular shipping would be for the item and have been denied multiple times..
Is there a MOD that can help us with SAFE-T Claim and actually look into our evidence provided?
The Shipping Label that we got stuck with paying costs more then the original shipping and the selling cost of the item combined.
We continually keep recieving a reply stating "Photographic evidence of the damage or difference with the item. Images of packaging will not suffice."
The item is NOT defective nor damaged we simply want to be refunded for the absurd cost of the label.
Please Help!
Did the item get sent back to you or to amazon? If it went to amazon, you don't know what size box it was shipped back in. This is why amazon started pushing these return fees back on us, people returning things in whatever box is handy versus the cheapest option.
Hello @Seller_BDDbqeOygcV6a- and thanks for posting this situation to the forums so the community could weigh in. It does sound like the slightly larger box could have been the cause of the increased charge, based on these details on prepaid return shipping services.
It sounds like you've already appealed this claim decision through the proper path, but if you would like to share the case ID this generated, please do share it in the thread here so I can take a closer look along with you!
Thanks,
Danny
