I presume you will need to get an ioss number for your firm and pay the tax through that. when all this came in we withdrew from overseas sales on our website as it was just not worth the while. Dependant on the number of sales you have to the eu might be worth directing them to you amazon links and pay the amazon fees for your eu stuff rather than the expense of setting up an ioss account and learning what to charge for each item in the way of tax.

Are they under €150 and personal customers ?
If so , you should be using amazons ioss number and uploading that electronically through Royal mail and adding a cn22 label

My bad miss understood your original post if you are generating them through Amazon then Amazon should be providing an IOSS number. If your sending royal mail or a courier this should be entered on the rm/courier website under your profile on there. If your generating sales through your own website then my comments above stand.

If its causing you an issue I would recommend registering for EORI for Ireland which starts with XI your current VAT and three extra naughts. It’s very simple to register. With regards to commodity codes they are usually 10 digits also referred as HS code. Customs declaration should be applied to all orders using the correct description, qty, value, commodity code, country of origin etc etc.

If you are shippings goods from the UK to Europe using your own method of dispatch then use the IOSS supplied with the order. If you need to get customs clearance then recommend talking to the company who delivers your order.
