Royal Mail 19 days Strike and Seller fulfil Prime
Selling customised products is not something can be done through FBA so we are doing seller Prime.
As Royal Mail workers announced 19 days of strike in this festive season and Amazon has not announced how they will manage seller prime performance for these strike days so we are in limbo what do to next?
DPD onboard is long process and can take a month or so and their prices along collection times are not feasible for our business.
I would like to know how other businesses are planning in this time who fulfilled their own order through seller prime and using Royal Mail courier as main supplier for deliveries. Your input will be appreciated. Thanks

I also sell customised products to my customers, although not through any kind of prime setup, but I used to offer a 1 and 2 day delivery upgrades before the Royal Mail strikes came about.
My advice would be in the short term to do away with trying to offer prime deliveries, unless you can get a reliable courier setup in time and not fall foul of the VTR policy.
Still offer your products, but increase your handling and delivery times to suit the strike dates throughout the coming months.
I think in general, customers are going to be seeing longer delivery times on the build up to Christmas this year.
Turnover and profits I totally understand are important, however, account protection and surviving this period for me have to come first, loss of earnings… I’ll try and catch up on the other side.
