No Sales Since 4pm on Friday a New Worring Trend I Noticed

Over the past few weeks I’ve noticed that I’m seeing a drastic drop in sales over the weekend. It’s been happening for the past 3-4 weekends now, my sales in the week are decent but then over the weekend my sales are pitifully low. Was wondering if anyone else has noticed this? I normally sell quite consistently throughout the week and weekend so was wondering why the sudden dip on these days? It’s really worrying as it’s already become a struggle selling here without even more problems.

Saturday has always been a slow day for us. Normally the worst day of the week. Always assumed it is people out doing other things.

Sunday is busier though and that is one of the busiest days of the week.

Black Friday weekend is only two weeks away so lots of people who don't need to buy now will be waiting to see if they can get a deal. Big retailers have created their own monster which stops the traditional build up to Christmas.

Hi @Seller_29AF2b8VJNr8z,

Looking at your listings, I noticed that all of your products are offered by multiple sellers. On average, your prices are about 27% higher than the lowest new price, which likely impacts your Buy Box share and could explain the weekend sales drop.

I know pricing is a tricky balance, and there may be good reasons for your current pricing strategy. I just wanted to point out what might be contributing to the issue, as it's something worth considering. Unfortunately, this isn’t something the mods can directly address.

Usually by now I am doing more Sales a day than I do a Week (Jan-Sep) this year hasn't got moving at all yet. I usually do about £100-£200 a day on Amazon however currently even with Xmas here im actually down per day compared to September and October. No doubt it will explode soon but it is slow atm. My High-Street shop is over 50% down this year Month by month compared to last year

My weekend sales have always been lower than weekday sales but most of my products are for business rather than personal. That said I am seeing a steady increase this year but last week is down considerably

I have certainly noticed the same normally from Thursday evening for me - especially if another seller has the same kind of items on FBA - even though I do SFP - FBA beats me at the weekends as FBA can dispatch straight away instead of mine on a Monday.

I've noticed a concerning trend on Amazon recently. It seems that when products are advertised—whether by us or other sellers—only the offers from Amazon are prominently displayed, while competitors' offers are hidden. Our sales on Amazon have been steady, but since last week, things have gone unusually quiet. I became aware of this issue because I've been tagged on Instagram and Facebook in posts featuring the products we sell. However, in those posts, the seller is listed as Amazon exclusively. Has anyone else experienced this?
