Cross-border fulfilment between the UK and EU - relaunching in March 2022?
Hi,
We received an email earlier this week saying that the cross-border fulfilment between the UK and EU will relaunch in March.
Does this mean that in order to have our stock sold on Amazon Germany, France and other nations we don’t have to manually send a shipment into the EU?
We used to sell a lot in the EU prior to Brexit, but since the changes last year we’ve just concentrated on the UK until things settled down.
We were under the impression that in order to sell on Amazon EU websites we needed to ship to a single EU country, and then our products would be available in other EU countries.
So is this now changing back again in March?
Cheers,
Chris.

There are a few different way of making sales to the EU. Pan-EU is the one where you send your items into the EU to be stored and EFN is the one where your stock stays in the UK. Which one is right for you will depend on a range of factors.

I am not sure but I have not been able to send any stock to Europe since Brexit but was invited to join a pilot scheme that means I have had to get fiscal representation and sent a consignment last week to get stock accepted into Europe.
It has literally just got through customs and awaiting for it to appear on the German marketplace. I am assuming that once it is there, the stock will then be able to move freely around Europe as it did prior to Brexit.
