Read onlyHi everyone,
I'm stuck in a bit of a loop and could really use some help. Here's the deal:
I live in Spain but my business is set up in the UK. Whenever I'm asked for a utility bill to prove where I live, things get confusing. Despite asking around, I just can't seem to get a straight answer on what exactly I need to provide.
So far, I've uploaded two things: the company formation document that shows my business is legit in the UK, which has my virtual office address on it, and a utility bill that shows my home address in Spain. I think there is no way that I can get a utility bill with my virtual office address and for privacy reasons I don't really want to put my residential address out there.
I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. I've seen others talk about similar issues, but I'm looking for fresh advice, especially from someone who knows how Amazon handles this.
Before I uploaded the utility bill, my credit card wasn't verified. Could that be part of the problem? I haven't tried yet after I noticed that as I'm trying to avoid repeating steps if they're not necessary.
Many thanks in advance.
The utility bill needs to be for your residential address, not your virtual office address, as it is part of the verification of your personal ID.
Over the last few days there have been quite a few posts from people having VAT issues because of using virtual offices - hopefully that will not be your next hurdle to jump over !!!
As above - if what they are asking for is a utlity bill to prove where you live, you need a utility bill, as it would suggest for the residential address where you live.
@Ash_AMZi also have the similar issue!
