Have I missed something?

not sure if iv missed something but noticed a lot of sellers have the prime badge over the last week or so. they are Fulfilling Orders themselfs (FBM) & its still on 3 day delivery times? get your order by thursday.. have i missed some seller fulfilled prime change or something? i thought it had to be 100% next day delivery to get the prime badge?

The Prime badge went missing for a lot of sellers on Thursday afternoon at about 3:30pm but re-appeared the next day, the only prime displayed was on FBA listings, usually the norm if they are working on something in the background. Ive asked the question today why Prime is not displaying next day deliveries but still no reply from SS.
The funny thing is why Amazon are calling themselves a new seller!

Prime" does not and has never meant "Next Day" delivery. This is just Amazon's clever marketing.
When they shout "Next Day Delivery on millions of items", it does not mean "on all items".
Saying that, I only do FBA so not totally familiar with SFP.

It would be interesting to have a link for this. It's either a blip of a new seller calling themselves "Amazon".

Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) orders can be 1 day or 2 day (Amazon decides which customer sees which delivery promise, but usually distance is the deciding factor).
If you saw a SFP with 3 days, it was probably down to a bank holiday or a weekend or something to that effect, because 3 day SFP does not exist to my knowledge and we do a lot of them.
