Having trouble advertising my product on Amazon
Need Help - I’m going round in circles
Basically I want to sell an item that is already available but I don’t want to use the mandatory template on offer as I want to create my own because what the seller has advertised mine will be slightly different.
Whats the best way around this? My product is also classed as generic as I don’t have a code for the item.
I thought it would be easy to sell on Amazon but I’m finding I’m getting frustrated with it all.
Its not as easy as E-bay…

In that case you have to create a new listing with you own barcodes

Correct. Amazon is a TOTALLY different ball game to ebay.
If your item is slightly different then you cannot list on an existing listing. You will have to purchase a barcode (from GS1 only) or ask for GTIN exemption.
