It depends on the category but you can rank within a week or 2 if your price is low enough to be noticed, the difficulty is then raising the price to a profitable level which took me 7 weeks as you can only increase it by around 5% every 4 days due to the competitive price rule

easier to do a campaign tue, wed, and thurs to get ranked and then turn it off for the weekend sales
