Amazon fba sending out in clear packaging
we are receiving a number of emails and -ve feedbacks regarding amazon sending out FBA orders in clear packaging. Is anyone else receiving the same? Its so frustrating. They need to revert back to opaque packaging for all orders, especially during xmas season when 99% of orders are gifts!!

A lot of my FBA listings make it clear that the customer will receive in packaging that will show the item, although some of the description is sometimes not visible!
I ordered a present for my son and it came in clear packaging that the FBA seller had put it in. On the flip side I ordered something else for my brother in law and it came in a prime cardboard box with so much packaging that you wondered just what were they thinking.
I think the customer has the option to request it is delivered in Amazon packaging when are checking out but most will miss it.
I guess the reason behind it is to save money and packaging. However I am not sure what the reaction would be if we started doing FBM orders the same way!

When ordering from Amazon it always warns me that it may arrive in clear or no packaging (sometimes they literally stick the postage label on the actual box.
It tells me to click on this item is a gift if I require it packed in less revealing packaging. so I assume your customers are not ticking that box and not even looking at the checkout information

thanks for the replies. If multiple customers aren’t seeing the option then its definitely not clear enough. Amazon need to change this. When customers leave 1* product reviews because of it is when it becomes a big problem because these cant be removed unlike feedbacks.
