Lack of Compensation for Lost FBA Stock
I have a product made by a local small business- being a handmade product, it has very tight margins.
It sells for £49 retail - about £38 after Amazon fees. Amazon lost a unit at FBA and reimbursed us just £5.64.
That wouldn't even cover the raw materials to make it.
I opened a case to query the reimbursement , they asked for an invoice for the product to 'prove ownership' with the costs blanked out, which I provided, as well as a link to the manufacturer's website to show the price it sells at.
They've refused to reconsider the reimbursement figure. How would I go about escalating this, as Seller Support are refusing to help or even confirm how they arrived at such a low figure.

Hello @Seller_KZISAYucwNubp!
Thanks for reaching out on the Seller Forums.
Can you please provide me with the case ID so I can check the details?
In the meantime, let me link the Help Page that covers FBA lost and damaged inventory reimbursement policy.
Best,
Maja

I thought the fba were based upon the selling price and the proceeds you would receive as a result had it not been lost.
Have you ever had a lower price than £49 perhaps when you first created the listing as a placeholder price before you submitted stock?
