Delivery options on listing not what I selected

Delivery options on listing not what I selected

I only want to supply my books by standard domestic delivery and thought that was how they were set up. But by chance I've discovered that they have Express UK and all the international options selected.

If I edit the listing and unselect the unwanted options and save, when I go back in to the listing to edit it again the options I don't want are still selected.

If I create a new listing and don't select those options if I subsequently go in to edit it then the unwanted options are selected.

I've looked around to see if there are any settings I have incorrectly set but haven't seen anything that I am doing wrong.

My account is individual and not professional which I know has options unavailable to me.

Any insights as to what might be causing this would be gratefully received.

It seems it was displaying the options as selected whether they had been previously selected or not. That problem seems to have been resolved, but now it says Express delivery is the default option and standard delivery is an option! I attach a screenshot of it.

I have same issue, cant remove express option and my settings are correct showing Domestic standard only, what is going on?

When are Amazon going to realise there is a serious problem here - I know of no way to report such issues – are moderators picking this up as if so please let us know.

By trial and error it seems to me to be a problem with new listings and any modified since the problem started – untouched ones seem to be OK.

If I unset the “Optional” standard then my listing only shows with standard delivery available – but at a charge of £8.98 – the express one!

I don’t understand why any change was made to the system as I’m not aware that any change has been made to AZ polices or charges for delivery.

How such what to me seem such bizarre changes to the coding were made is beyond me. And how have these changes passed quality control before being put live with what to me seem such glaring errors.

If such errors have been made here what else is happening in their IT department – if I was in charge I would be seriously concerned to put it mildly!

If due to these errors in the system I get an order either for express or overseas that I have not opted in to and fail to despatch as ordered then will AZ take responsibility for the problem – or will I get the blame although innocent in shades of another well known situation?!

As I’m so concerned I don’t know what delivery is being offered on my listings I’m suspending my listings until I am confident that no further errors are introduced and I can make sure I have got them as I intend.

Please check your Default Shipping option to see if Express Delivery is set to: No

Any screenshots of your listing shipping settings or default shipping settings would be useful (remember to remove any personal data).
