So I have a standard shipping template for some products which does not offer shipping to Ireland (they just never make it so I removed this region from the shipping template a while ago)
Yesterday I recieved an order on the UK platform, to ship to Ireland.
I contacted SS stating they need to cancel this order without affecting my metrics as this it an error on their part, I clearly do not ship to ireland. The stated becuase inventory is available I MUST ship it or else kinda thing.
I had to explain, despite inventory available, it is not available to that region as per my shipping template.
He then said SS would respond via email. They did, and it was useless, stating that Its a Seller Fulfilled Prime order (Which it isnt) and "To participate in the programme, you must be able to deliver Prime orders to England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. These regions are systematically integrated in your Prime template found in your Delivery Settings and cannot be removed."
Which is nonsense due to the fact that this is not a prime shipping template and the order is not a prime order, so again they have no idea what they are talking about and couldnt be more unhelpful if they tried, ironically ending with "Please know that I made every effort to furnish you with accurate information in accordance with our existing policies." Yet couldnt get the facts right.
I am at a loss of what to do, I'm simply not shipping to ireland just to get an A to Z claim, so any suggestions?
