A-to-Z claim from amazon.fr order from june
The customers says he didn’t receive this order from 4 month ago. I started requesting proof of delivery from DPD, but within a day amazon refunded him through a a-to-z claim.
Is there anything to do, or I just have to accept this?
Interestingly the customer was reselling the item, this is what amazon wrote.
The customer called to request a refund because she is a seller and she had purchased this item for one of her customers and her customer had refused delivery because the carrier asked her to pay in addition the shipping costs shipping so the package had been returned. Please do the necessary research and contact the customer. Thank you for responding directly to this customer by replying to this email or by going to your seller account:
The package shows as delivered in DPD tracking. I’m still awaiting the proof of delivery.
Can I appeal a a-to-z decision after it’s been made?

Several things that seem to be appeal worthy here - however…
Did you ship the order with the appropriate IOSS information (assuming it was under EUR150 - or duty paid if it was over?)
Goods shipped need to have the correct customs treatment.
As the goods have been delivered then an INR A-Z seems appealable as long as you were compliant with the customs issues?
EDIT - I considered whether the buyer might have been drop-shipping as their ‘I bought this for a customer’ seemed odd, however it doesn’t mean it was drop-shipping so I removed this from my answer.

The appeal was denied. They wrote that I didn’t provide the name of the courier. But I clearly wrote that in the appeal (and also previously when entering the tracking data). I wonder if they mixed DPD (the courier) with DDP (duties paid)? But if that’s is the case then the level of competence are quite shockingly low. This is what they wrote:
Why was my appeal denied?
We received the tracking information you provided for order XX. However, you did not provide the carrier name or it does not show any tracking information on the carrier’s website.
This is what I wrote:
The shipment was sent with DPD Ireland on June 23rd and was delivered on June 28th. I have received proof of delivery from DPD (no upload button here, please allow me to upload). Tracking number XX Tracking website: https://dpd.ie/tracking
Any advice of what I could have done differently?
