Find in what category other sellers product is listed
Hello all,
Im trying to sell products that doesn’t have dedicated category in amazon.co.uk and I am not the only one who sells that type of things. I want to see in which category other sellers put them, is it somehow possible? Maybe there is some API I could put to use, or simply using “inspection tool” in browser. Or maybe other tricks? I dont see a clearly specified categories on page at least…

Im trying to add product with EAN code that is not sold currently on amazon, I am the one who registered it with GS1 if it matters

Yes, enter your product here… e.g. “sewing machine” (do not use the barcode for this, if you want just a general product search)

and all the categories will show on the left where “sewing machines” have been listed.

Thank You for reply, sorry I wasn’t quite clear - I meant subcategory (end of category tree) for specific product that isn’t mine. All of those type of products are listed in DIY and Tools but I cant see the tree where exactly they are.

From the same page click on I’m adding a product not sold on Amazon, it will walk you through the various subcategories.
Sometimes you will need to retrace your steps to find the correct browse node / route. But the majority will have “other” marked as an escape route or option if you get stuck. 
Without knowing what your trying to list, it’s rather hard to advise. Normally forum members can find the correct path when someone enquires.
What exactly are you trying to list?
