We currently sell an asin via FBA in the UK
this is also listed on amazon.fr
is there a way we can ship this to an FBA center in France to sell in that country

Yes, but you need to register for VAT in France in order to do so.
To use Pan European though, you need to be registered in at least two EU countries.
I would suggest that you read up about it.
