Selling as Used - like new. Invoices Needed?
I have a small amount of stock purchased ages ago that I cannot find invoices for. This was bought to sell on ‘the other site’ but ive decided to just move them quickly on amazon as its a brand that sells decently well on here. Obviously I cannot list as New because I have no invoices, but can I list as Used? I’m worried about listing as used and then being asked for invoices I do not have. If that is what will happen I’ll just take the loss and not list them.

I think it is really unlikely but who knows what Amazon will do. I have been asked for invoice for new items, but never for Used items.
This reminds me on Amazon’s policy on dropshippings, which specifies that dropshippers should list items as Used and should have a dedicated fulfiller. But I can’t remember if the policy ever mentioned anything about what they need when reviewing a dropshipper’s account.

Can not really see this being a problem, the reason you cannot sell as new is that the warranty is not valid if not purchased from a wholesaler, or manufacturer, and I believe this is why they ask for invoices, to ensure that the customers rights are respected by having this in place. If sold as used, then there is no manufacturers warranty issue, of course you still need to ensure condition is described correctly, and that the items are fit for purpose.

It will depend also if you need approval to list that brand or category as that will need invoices

Sell FBM, and on Prime (SFP) if possible, that way if an issue, you have the items and do not have to try and fight to get them back

its a nightmare, like talking to a brick wall. i had a lot of used action figures stopped and invoices demanded by amazon, they were listed as used and no matter how hard i explained its impossible to have invoices for used figures they suspended me and it took me 3months to get back on via mitigation. i had to just delete everything they flagged. the amazon rep rang me and said they need the invoices as other sellers provide them. total stress city
