Policy Violation for parent asin
Reading another post thought i would check my account health, i found a policy violation ‘over 18 knife’ for the Parent ASIN of a different variations of knives i sell.
Obviously each ASIN has the appropriate age warnings etc and been combined on the Parent asin created just for that reason.
How can a PARENT ASIN there is no product exists violate a policy.
The appeal option just gives me a read the policy option.

Would it be because knives can only be sold FBA and the parent isn’t assigned to a fulfilment method ?!
If so, the only way would be to split the children into stand alone listings and delete the parent

Yea did that, now the asins all show up twice on my inventory, will see if it sorts itself out next 24 hours
