General Product Safety Regulation

I have no idea where to start with the General Product Safety Regulation. As a reseller of computer printers, there are no safety warnings on the packaging. Some of the printer models do have warnings, but most of the modern printers do not have safety warnings.

So sending up to six photos of a printer with no safety warning would not satisfy Amazon.

What am I missing?

Merci.

I have received this message from Seller Support.

Dear Seller,

The warning and safety labels could be: recycling labels, CE mark, other pictograms included in the packaging.

Kind regards,

Thank you for selling with Amazon.

I attached some pictures to my message to SS, and none of them has a pictogram, warning label, or anything.

It is for the EU marketplace, not UK

No - there's more needed. But amazon state, for Amazon UK you don't need to provide anything.

I would suggest you have a read of amazons idea of what it is

As far as you sell from the UK market you do not need to bother yourself about buyers with Northern Ireland addresses.

It is all about the Amazon marketplace where you list your products.

Amazon and the Government, count Northern Ireland as part of the EU. So, if selling to NI, you have to conform to EU Regulations.

On SFP, and FBA, you cannot exclude NI to sell to.

Amazon have not clarified if that will be altered

It is becoming a little easier to understand now. However, it is hard to imagine what it will take to upload the images or documents. I would assume that once the images are uploaded you can continue to re-list new items without having to upload new images for the same product.

What is not clear, what about existing stock, and how is the listing going to update if a Brand owner is not going to action anything.
