Labels for branded products
Hi,
I was wondering if you need to label branded products that already exist on Amazon?
I was under the impression you do not need to but it seems like you may have to?
Thanks

Yes, but it would mean that your stock would be commingled (shared) in the warehouse with that of any other seller of the same item. What that means is that all the stock would be dumped in the same bin and when you got an order Amazon staff would just pick any one out of the bin, which might be one of yours or might be someone else’s. Normally that’s fine - you get the money for the sale anyway, and eventually your one of the item will get sent to someone else’s customer in the same way. A problem only arises if the other seller’s stock isn’t right - is not genuine or is damaged etc - but you get the blame for it!
If you don’t want to risk this, you have to send the stock in with your own FNSKU labels, which means they go in a bin that contains only your stock. Take a look at the Seller University videos on FBA which will explain it in more detail

Are you talking about labelling stock to send to FBA, or just for listing products on the Amazon catalogue? Obviously, anything and everything you sell has to have some kind of identification

Stock to send to FBA,
Would the products barcode on the item be enough?
