Your attention is needed: Change to VAT services on Amazon
Dear Vip,
This email follows the communication you received from Amazon regarding the unsubscription of your VAT services on Amazon.
Amazon has notified us that you no longer have an active Amazon EU Marketplace account. Consequently, you cannot continue to use VAT services on Amazon.
As your tax agent, we will not submit VAT reports on your behalf or provide other VAT compliance services to your business via VAT Services on Amazon.
Furthermore, we hereby renounce the power of attorney and terminate your agreement with Avalara VAT Services, for the jurisdictions affected, with effect from 29 February 2024, in accordance with Section 9.3 therein.
As stated in Section 9 of the Agreement, you remain responsible for all VAT obligations, other payment obligations and information requirements that arose prior to termination and Avalara is not required to refund any fees.
