Incorrectly checked in to stock
Hi,
I sent my first stock to Amazon. I sent 4 boxes, three boxes contained one barcode and the final box contained another. However these have been received all as one item, and the stock Inventory under the reserved column, which was originally right, has now changed and everything has moved to a single product, putting my other product “out of stock”.
This is incorrect, being my first shipment I checked and triple checked and got someone else to check what I was sending and the labels, etc. So I know that I sent the two different products and labelled them so.
How can I get this corrected?

It’s not that an unusual occurrence unfortunately.
All you can do is wait until the reconcile date has passed, then open an investigation.
I would suggest that in the meantime, you disable the listing that they have put the wrong stock on as otherwise customers are going to get the wrong item.

So even if you follow the Amazon instructions to the letter, do they not simply scan ‘each’ box label to check them in? The labels have (in tiny print) a description of what is in the box so they must know.
The shipping queue, shipment contents, everything states there are two different items, they aren’t even co mingled.
Surely after all the care and attention into getting shipping right we’re not relying on a manual check in where mistakes will happen?
