3 Weeks No Pallet Pickup

Around 3 weeks ago i created a shipment with amazon to pick up 2 pallets. The scheduling pickup etc was to be done by amazon - we had no personal control over this. I have been in regular contact with amazon to try get it picked up. I am relentlessly told 'please wait 48 hours for us to receive a response from the carrier'. this has turned into weeks with seller support saying the exact same thing each time. Its an absolute joke. How are we to make money when it takes almost a month to pick up 2 pallets? Weve imported other products and sent them off as case packs, and theyre already in the warehouse processing - while the 2 pallets are not. Has anyone else had to deal with the same issue?

Amazon don't pick up themselves but use approved carriers. Did you also book a collection with the carrier on your booking?

Also carriers don't pick up pallets from residential addresses - was the pick up address a premises address?

Presumably you have created the pallet shipment and used Amazon's partnered carrier? (formlerly UPS, now QARGO).

Unfortunately QARGO are just not ready to take over the massive operation it seems and therefore people have been waiting weeks or even months for pallets to be collected.

I have switched to using other couriers as I can guarantee them getting into Amazon, even if it is much more expensive.

All you can do is contact them via email and hope you get a response telling you the collection date.

Thankyou - it is safe to say i will never by any means try use an Amazon partnered carrier again. May i ask what alternative carriers you use? And when you say contact via email - do you mean amazon themselves or QARGO?

In my previous position, we used Palletways

Once the dust has settled, QARGO will be the quickest and most efficient way to send stock in. Amazon will always prioritise their partnered carrier.

Palletways, Palletline... there are plenty out there.

Try this email, you should get a response from someone from QARGO. Always worked for me when I was having issues.

Try palletonline. They usually pick up same day, and in amazon warehouse usually within 48hours. For extra I think they can accommodate smaller vehicles, but I never tried it... My 'partnered' carrier arrived after 3 weeks - guy was delivering 4 pallets to us, and said: oh, I have also 2 pallets to collect from you. I said, mate, that was 3 weeks ago...

Yes, the same happened with us, so I eventually cancelled the collection and shipped single boxes with UPS. Typically the pallet courier still arrived at the exact time as UPS to pick up the single boxes!

I haven't bothered with a pallet collection since.
