Brexit FAQ: Webinar for FBA sellers

The Brexit transition period has ended and there is now a customs border in place between the UK and EU. Please visit the Brexit help page for more information.

Our upcoming webinar on February 15, 2021 is dedicated to helping you understand how you can continue selling with FBA in Europe, now that there is a UK<>EU customs border in place.

We will be addressing the most frequently asked questions from previous webinars and hosting a live Q&A session with our panel of experts.

Before joining this Q&A session, we recommend that you watch our on-demand Brexit guidance webinars and video content on the Brexit Help Page for in-depth guidance on the operational changes to your Amazon business.

Hopefully there will be some clarity on how to get my stock to EU, I provided commercial invoice, EORI/VAT codes, power of attorney the lot. Parcels came back to UK after 3 weeks… of roaming around EU…

Hi Amazon

Please can you give us an update on how/ when to get our parcels into the EU Fulfilment Centres from the UK. Some idea of timescales as to whether / when the PCP service will resume into EU? If external couriers are needed, then exactly how that works.

A lot of sellers have tried and failed to send parcels into the EU. There seem to be particular problems with the valuation method (cost vs retail price). Also issues around who can be the Importer of Record, who / when pays the import duty and VAT, how is the import VAT reclaimed, exactly how should the Commercial Invoice be completed, which exact POA is needed (is it a different one per country etc. It seems a high level of accurate detail is needed by sellers as apparently EU customs are being very careful in their checks.

Are there any plans to integrate the customs process into Amazon? Potentially sellers could load up all the relevant customs information per product, and generate customs paperwork from within Seller Central.

thanks

Again - all information with regards to how and when we will get our UPS PCP packages back (5 to 6 weeks for us - coming back crushed with destroyed stock). We’ve paid for the service, we have to replace our items, we can’t send more because they’re still showing as incoming.
Clarity on exactly how to send UK to eu - who pays the Import Duty and VAT, and how is it reclaimed.
Huge amounts of sellers going round in circles with exactly the same questions - and losing huge sums in sales and extra costs.
